"Sangria"
This is kind of the cheaters version of sangria, but it's so good and was definitely a hit with our guests!
In a large pitcher, combine 1 bottle medium-bodied red wine (such as Malbec or Rioja--I used the cheapest bottle of Malbec I could find at World Market and it worked perfectly!), 3 cups apple juice, and 2 thinly sliced peaches. Serve over ice.

i love sangria! i'm going to try yours. our "ski lodge" sangria (named in honor of our ski trip that got too hot for hot chocolate so we made sangria instead) is made with cheap red wine, too, but we add orange juice, sierra mist, oranges and grapes. all choosen because that's what we had at the house. it turned out great so we recreated it every night! we also have a "river trip" sangria. even cheaper still but not so good that we made it again.
